Versant Media launched four free ad-supported streaming channels built on CNBC, E! and Oxygen programming, debuting on Prime Video in the U.S. on October 27 and on The Roku Channel from November 3. Yahoo reported the launch, which brings the company's FAST portfolio to 13 outlets.
Versant's Four New FAST Channels
The new channels are Snapped, which chronicles the life of a woman charged with murder and began airing on Oxygen in 2004; Botched, an E! selection examining the highs and lows of plastic surgery; Oxygen Murders of America, a true-crime documentary series; and CNBC Ambition, which offers stories of entrepreneurship, innovation, wealth creation and success drawn from primetime series that previously aired on the business-news cable outlet.
All four channels are available on Prime Video in the U.S. beginning October 27, with staggered launches on The Roku Channel starting November 3. Versant said it expects to continue launching FAST channels with additional platforms in the coming months.
"Growing our digital platforms and reaching new audiences are central to Versant's strategy," said Dave Pietrycha, chief revenue and business officer of Versant, in a statement. "Bringing more of our programming to Prime Video and The Roku Channel extends the reach of our iconic brands and provides audiences with more ways to discover content they value wherever they watch."
Prime Video and The Roku Channel already carry Pam Grier's Soul Flix, American Crimes, Oxygen True Crime Archives, E! Keeping Up, Bad Girls Club and GolfPass, and Prime Video also offers 365BLK and Outlaw.
How Versant Built Its FAST Portfolio
According to akta.pro company records, Versant completed its acquisition of Free TV Networks in January 2026, adding FAST channels and over-the-air broadcast networks including Outlaw, Busted, 365BLK and Soul Flix that now reach over 90% of U.S. TV households via CBS distribution. The same records show a February 2026 multi-platform distribution agreement with CBS under which 365BLK and Outlaw launched across 16 CBS Owned & Operated markets, expanding 365BLK's consumer availability to 92% of the U.S.
Earlier Versant Distribution Moves
Versant renewed its multi-year distribution agreement with Verizon, extending access to cable networks including USA Network, MS NOW and CNBC, Investing.com reported in October 2026, with financial terms undisclosed. TheWrap reported the same month that Versant announced a partnership with Lionsgate to stream five Hunger Games movies for free on Fandango for two weeks before ticket sales. In September 2026, Sportcal reported that World Team Tennis signed a media rights deal with Versant's USA Sports to air all six December matches on CNBC in primetime, with Fandango streaming the events for free.
