ServiceNow announced the Control Tower Alliance on October 28, 2026, with 11 founding members including Anthropic, AWS, Cisco, HiddenLayer, Kong, NVIDIA, Okta, OpenAI, Stripe, WitnessAI and Zenity. Business Wire reported the program is built around the ServiceNow Super Intelligence Control Tower.
How the Control Tower Alliance Works
The alliance is designed for partners to work with ServiceNow in three ways. Partners build solutions that run on the Super Intelligence Control Tower, curated and pre-integrated solutions pass ServiceNow qualification and certification, and select partners create offerings sold and supported globally by ServiceNow. Shared standards for agent identity and safety guardrails are part of the program.
For customers, the alliance means a curated set of AI solutions that have passed ServiceNow qualification, certification and integration testing before they are listed. The Control Tower Alliance will coexist alongside the ServiceNow Store and Workflow Data Network Partner Passport programs.
Amit Zavery, president, chief product officer and chief operating officer of ServiceNow, said: "As AI agents have exploded in number and capacity, it's become clear that no single solution, no matter how powerful, can see everything, protect anything on its own."
Okta joins as a founding member. Ely Kahn, chief product officer at Okta, said the alliance combines ServiceNow's containment decision layer with Okta's kill switch capability to block new token requests from agents acting beyond their intended scope. Okta's Oktane event on October 24, 2026 covered AI agent governance, with executives and partners discussing shared architecture and runtime controls, according to SiliconANGLE.
ServiceNow's Earlier AI Partnerships
ServiceNow's company records on akta.pro show a June 2026 partnership in which it joined an 11-company consortium with Microsoft, Google, Cisco, NVIDIA, Salesforce, Snowflake, Databricks, GitHub and Hugging Face to launch the ARD open protocol under Apache 2.0. The same records list a June 2026 deepening of its AWS partnership, integrating ServiceNow AI Control Tower with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, after surpassing $1 billion in sales through AWS Marketplace.
Deals Leading Up to the Alliance
On October 27, 2026, ServiceNow and Google Cloud expanded their partnership to connect ServiceNow's Action Fabric workflows to Gemini Enterprise, enabling agentic AI in the assistant, Stock Titan reported. On October 26, 2026, ServiceNow Japan, NTT Security Holdings and CP-SOL announced a partnership to provide IT/OT/IoT vulnerability management and SOC services, according to Prtimes. On October 26, 2026, FPT Software Japan was officially certified as a ServiceNow Service Provider to support Japanese enterprises' digital transformation, Prtimes reported.
What Partners Bring to the Alliance
Cisco's DJ Sampath, SVP and GM of AI Software and Platform, said connecting Cisco AI Defense with ServiceNow lets customers bring AI asset visibility and security findings and drive remediation. NVIDIA's Pat Lee, VP of Strategic Partnerships, said NVIDIA OpenShell enforces boundaries at runtime. Kong CEO Augusto Marietti said the company helps extend governance into real-time enforcement across the APIs, models and tools that AI agents depend on.
