Palit Says GALAX and KFA2 Continue Operating as Usual Despite NVIDIA GPU Supply Constraints

- Palit called reports that GALAX and KFA2 are ending their businesses inaccurate, saying operations continue as normal.

Palit Microsystems has denied reports that its GALAX and KFA2 graphics card brands are ending their businesses, calling the claims inaccurate and saying operations continue as normal. Wccftech reported the denial on October 28, 2026, after a report suggested the brands could exit the market once existing GPU stock sells out.
Palit is a graphics card manufacturer that took full control of GALAX and KFA2 in April, merging the two brands under its ownership to strengthen their global presence and optimize the supply chain. GALAX and KFA2 dissolved their businesses across the globe, with new management taking control under Palit. Palit confirmed that GALAX will continue making custom graphics cards, including its "HOF" lines, and said it will make "next-generation" graphics cards under the Palit, GALAX, KFA2 and HOF branding.
Palit's Response to the GALAX Supply Report
The denial followed a report from Elchapuzasinformatico stating that Palit is not able to guarantee KFA2 and GALAX a "sufficient supply of NVIDIA chips." According to that report, keeping a factory operational would no longer be viable for the company if it cannot manufacture graphics cards, and the brand would disappear from the market once the GPUs it has already manufactured are sold out. Palit flagged the reports as "inaccurate" and said GALAX and its other brands share the same manufacturing facilities, with business operations continuing as normal. The company made a similar statement a few months back and is sticking with it.
The pressure stems from hardware shortages, mainly memory and chips, caused by increased demand and focus on AI-specific hardware. Those shortages have led to major price hikes across GPUs from NVIDIA, AMD and Intel, and board partners are receiving much lower quantities of GPU kits from NVIDIA, which include a GPU for a specific graphics card and its memory. Smaller brands are affected heavily by the constrained supply. NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 50 series graphics cards have already seen a major uptick in prices across all models, and even higher price increases are on the way, with major DRAM and NAND makers expected to face supply constraints till 2030.
What Comes Next for GALAX and KFA2
Palit said GALAX and its other brands share the same manufacturing facilities and that business operations continue as normal. The company said it will make "next-generation" graphics cards under the Palit, GALAX, KFA2 and HOF branding. KFA2 operates as one of the brands under Palit's control following the April merger.
