Brivo announced Brivo Reseller MCP, a Model Context Protocol server that lets security integrators connect their own AI tools to accounts inside the Brivo ecosystem, at its 2026 Cloud Security Summit. SecurityInfoWatch reported the launch from the Arlington, Texas, event, which runs October 26-29.
Brivo Reseller MCP and the Partner Portal
Founder Steve Van Till said the company announced Brivo Reseller MCP on Monday, October 26. MCP, or Model Context Protocol, lets AI tools connect with business systems through a standardized interface. CEO Dean Drako said the first release is built for resellers, who can link their preferred AI tools to account information in the Brivo ecosystem. Uses he listed include answering account questions, monitoring equipment status, improving customer service and managing billing more accurately.
"The MCP that we've done first is the MCP for all of you in this room so that you can actually connect up your AI agents, your AI queries, your AI tools, your favorite thing to all of your accounts inside of the Brivo ecosystem," Drako said. An MCP for end users is expected to follow, without a specific release date.
Brivo is also developing a unified partner portal to replace the Brivo store, legacy partner portals, dashboards and training resources. Drako said it will give partners one point of access for purchasing, training and account management, and that multifactor authentication will become mandatory for Brivo reseller systems.
Brivo's Merger Progress and Support Timelines
Drako said the combination of Brivo and Eagle Eye Networks began January 1, with sales organizations brought together first. Engineering teams now work under Jeff Nelson toward a unified product offering. Customer support is being consolidated from multiple phone numbers and ticketing systems, with completion expected by the end of 2026. Drako said the goal is zero wait time for callers, especially dealers.
Consolidated billing ran into problems. "There were some little hiccups in there. We apologize for that, but we're working through those with you and we appreciate your patience," Drako said. He said shipping, returns and warranty processes have been slow to integrate, with completion targeted for the first quarter of 2027.
Brivo's Earlier Product and Partner Moves
According to akta.pro company records, the Eagle Eye Networks merger closed December 29, 2025, combining Brivo's cloud access control with Eagle Eye's cloud AI video surveillance into a unified Brivo Security Suite, with Drako as CEO and Van Till as president. The same records list a November 2025 Bosch partnership integrating intrusion detection into the suite and a November 2025 Becklar partnership for 24/7 monitoring.
Earlier Brivo launches include the Schlage XE360 Series with RealSync integration, announced September 3, 2026, which the company said offers up to 70% lower cost per door than hardwired systems, according to FinancialContent Business Page. On October 2, 2026, SecurityInfoWatch reported Brivo named Hans Kahler chief customer officer, a new executive-level role.
Brivo's Remaining 2026 and 2027 Targets
Brivo targets completion of its consolidated customer support operation by the end of 2026. Shipping, returns and warranty integration is targeted for the first quarter of 2027. The company has not given a release date for an end-user MCP.
