Cognizant has been selected by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development as a strategic partner for a five-year framework supporting the bank's Tech Blueprint technology transformation programme, the company said on October 26, 2026. PR Newswire published the announcement.

Cognizant's Role in the EBRD Tech Blueprint

Under the five-year framework, Cognizant aims to deliver technology services across two service models: outcome-led managed services and fixed-capacity services. The scope spans digital and workplace management, cloud infrastructure, data and security, software engineering, automation and AI. The framework also involves a programme of continuous improvement and innovation designed to enhance services, strengthen resilience and deliver measurable value over time.

Cognizant plans to bring three proprietary AI solutions to the EBRD. Neuro IT Operations is intended to improve visibility across the bank's technology estate, anticipate and resolve issues faster, and strengthen service resilience. Flowsource is intended to deliver software faster and enable self-healing and left-shift capabilities by applying generative and agentic AI across the software development lifecycle. WorkNEXT is intended to provide workplace management through AI-powered voice and translation services and agent-enabled support orchestration.

Subhash Chandra Jose, Managing Director for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, said: "At the EBRD, the Tech Blueprint is our strategic roadmap for enhancing the technology and capabilities that support the Bank's mission and transformation." Simon Reeves, Director Technology at the EBRD, said the bank partnered with Cognizant for its managed services expertise, AI-enabled delivery and results-driven ways of working. Rohit Gupta, UK&I Managing Director at Cognizant, said the EBRD operates in a demanding, highly governed environment across three continents.
