The Flying Engineer launched a searchable Cirrus service hub on October 19, mapping 213 Cirrus Aircraft authorized service centers across 30 countries. The directory also lists independent specialists, suppliers and training schools, with filters for CAPS overhaul and Vision Jet service. EIN Presswire published the report.

The Flying Engineer's Cirrus Hub and Its Listings

The hub covers owners of the SR20, SR22, SR22T and Vision Jet. It maps 213 authorized service centers in 30 countries, and 104 of those centers are listed for CAPS overhaul, the 10-year repack required for each SR-series aircraft. Thirty-three centers offer full-service Vision Jet maintenance, while 28 additional centers offer Vision Jet line service. One hundred eighty-eight centers offer aircraft pickup and delivery.

California has the most authorized centers, with 18, while Florida and Texas each have 11. Alaska, Delaware and Rhode Island have none. Outside the authorized network, the hub lists 119 independent Cirrus specialists covering interiors, propellers, avionics and parts, along with 39 schools that train on Cirrus aircraft.

The cost database includes only prices companies publish themselves and links each price to a source. Avias Aircraft Services lists CAPS replacement for G2, G3 and G5 aircraft at US$19,800 with a 48-hour turnaround, and Synergy Flight Center lists Cirrus maintenance labor at US$175 an hour. Area pages are available for Florida, Texas, California, Georgia, the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia and Brazil. Filters include CAPS overhaul, Vision Jet full or line service, Platinum, training, avionics, TKS ice protection, composite and paint, pickup and delivery and parts, by region and country. The hub also includes a map of every company, with authorized centers and independent companies clearly labeled.

Radu Balas said The Flying Engineer is asking centers to confirm CAPS pricing and turnaround times so owners can compare options. The hub is independent and not affiliated with Cirrus Aircraft.
