enQase Joins American Bankers Association Partner Network to Help Banks Prepare for Quantum Threats

Key takeaways

  • enQase joined the American Bankers Association Partner Network as a Partner on October 19, 2026.
  • CEO Rajesh Patil said banks carry cryptographic risk they cannot yet see and the timeline is not theirs to set.
  • enQase's platform gives banks visibility into cryptography across applications, infrastructure, certificates, networks and third-party systems.

enQase joined the American Bankers Association Partner Network as a Partner on October 19, 2026, the quantum-safe security company said. The EIN Presswire announcement said the Austin-based company will engage with ABA member banks as they evaluate emerging security risks, modernize cryptographic infrastructure and prepare for the transition to post-quantum cryptography.

What enQase Brings to ABA Member Banks

The ABA Partner Network brings together technology and service providers supporting the banking industry. enQase said its platform helps banks gain visibility into where cryptography is used across applications, infrastructure, certificates, networks and third-party systems, then provides an enterprise cryptographic management platform to govern policy and maintain crypto agility as algorithms, standards and vendor technologies change.

"Banks are carrying cryptographic risk they cannot yet see, and the timeline is not theirs to set," said Rajesh Patil, CEO of enQase. "Harvest-now, decrypt-later attacks mean data protected today could be exposed when a cryptographically relevant quantum computer arrives."

Patil said joining the network lets enQase work more closely with banking institutions as they build cryptographic inventories, quantify exposure and develop migration strategies without disrupting critical banking systems. The company said financial institutions face long-lived sensitive data exposed to harvest-now, decrypt-later risk, complex certificate and key environments, dependence on multiple technology vendors, and the need to modernize cryptography in line with NIST post-quantum standards and evolving regulatory expectations. enQase's profile is listed in the ABA Partner Network Directory.

enQase's Funding and Leadership Records

According to akta.pro company records, enQase was founded in 2025, is headquartered in Austin, has a headcount range of 51-100, a revenue estimate of $1 million-$5 million and a valuation estimate of $50 million-$100 million. The same records list Mike Kramer as Co-Founder and CEO, Rajesh Patil as Interim CEO and CTO, Steven Menges as Executive Vice President of Marketing & Partnerships and Stephen Grein as Senior Vice President of Sales. The records also list more than 15 United States and international patents related to quantum security technology, more than 10 years of quantum research and real-world deployment experience, and a QRNG performance specification of 320,000 256-bit AES keys per second.

Earlier enQase Partnerships and Appointments

In September 2026, enQase outlined a six-step hybrid encryption approach pairing classical and post-quantum algorithms to bridge quantum threats, with La Sierra University deploying its quantum-safe VPN for 25 staff as a pilot, Quantum Zeitgeist reported. In August 2026, enQase and Light Rider Inc. announced a strategic technology partnership to integrate quantum-safe security, cryptographic agility and quantum communication capabilities for government and enterprise organizations, Thequantuminsider reported. In April 2026, enQase appointed Mahi Dontamsetti to its advisory board to strengthen expertise in technology risk and quantum-safe security governance, Thequantuminsider reported.
