Cordell & Cordell expanded its estate planning services into two new states and five new offices, bringing the total to 12 states and 31 offices, the firm said on October 19, 2026. The St. Louis-based firm, which describes itself as the nation's largest family law firm, announced the move as the U.S. observes National Estate Planning Awareness Week from October 19 to 25, GlobeNewswire reported.

Cordell & Cordell's Five New Estate Planning Offices

California and New York join the firm's existing estate planning offices in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Virginia. The new locations are Novato, California; San Jose, California; Albany, New York; Dublin, Ohio; and Beavercreek, Ohio. The Novato and Albany offices will start taking on new estate planning clients on October 30, while the other locations are already operational.

Cordell & Cordell launched its estate planning services in April 2025 at its Missouri headquarters and has expanded since then. The firm said only 24% of Americans have a will in place, and that Americans spend an estimated $2 billion each year on probate, with nearly $1.5 billion of that going toward attorney fees and court administration costs.
