Key takeaways

  • Clarion's AI agents connect directly to WeInfuse so they can see each patient's orders, prior authorization status and upcoming appointments in real time.
  • Medix Infusion is the first provider to use the WeInfuse and Clarion integration, according to the companies.
  • WeInfuse's cloud platform manages infusion workflows including intake, scheduling, clinical documentation, inventory management, dispensing and billing.

WeInfuse announced a strategic partnership with Clarion on October 14, 2026, connecting Clarion's AI agents to WeInfuse's infusion platform so the agents can resolve routine patient calls using live order, authorization and appointment data. PR Newswire published the announcement.

How the Clarion Agents Connect to WeInfuse

WeInfuse is a cloud-based platform that manages end-to-end workflows for infusion providers and pharmacies, covering intake, scheduling, clinical documentation, inventory management, dispensing and billing. Clarion connects directly to WeInfuse, so its agents see each patient's orders, prior authorization status and upcoming appointments in real time. The agents resolve routine calls end to end and route everything else to the patient's clinic.

Clarion was founded in 2024 by Ryan Gallagher, MD, and Jeffrey Lamothe and runs the front office for medical practices with AI agents, handling inbound and outbound patient calls, referral and fax processing, and scheduling for customers representing 20 specialties and more than 1,000 clinic locations in nearly all 50 states. The company is based in New York and backed by Accel and Y Combinator.

"As a physician, I've seen firsthand how administrative work pulls clinical teams away from the patients who need them," said Clarion Co-Founder & CEO Ryan Gallagher, MD. "Infusion is one of the most operationally complex areas of care."

"Our clients have enough on their plates without having to spend so much of their day answering phones, managing scheduling requests, and chasing down information," said WeInfuse Co-Founder & CEO Bryan Johnson.

Medix Infusion, a national multi-site infusion center and pharmacy organization and a longtime Clarion customer, is the first provider to use the integration. Clarion's agents now work directly from Medix's data in WeInfuse, using the same orders, authorizations and schedules the Medix team relies on.

"Our team spends a lot of time on the phone coordinating care, answering questions, and making sure patients have what they need," said Medix CEO & President Carmine DeNardo. "We're already seeing the benefits."

WeInfuse's Partnership Record

According to akta.pro company records, WeInfuse entered a strategic partnership with Eitan Medical in June 2026 to enable bidirectional data exchange between Sapphire and Avoset infusion pumps and WeInfuse clinical documentation plus InfuseTrack. The same records show a June 2026 partnership with Trial IQ Technologies to embed AI-driven clinical trial matching, patient identification, site readiness and physician education into community infusion center workflows, and a May 2026 partnership integrating BioCareSD's specialty therapy portfolio into the workflow platform. The records list one funding round, a private equity round in March 2023 with one investor.
