ShowerUp Named Anthem Awards Finalist, Plans 100,000th Shower This Fall

ShowerUp was named a Finalist in Individual Recognition (Non Profit) Humanitarian Action & Services for The 6th Annual Anthem Awards, the nonprofit announced on October 14, 2026. PRLog published the announcement. The Nashville-based organization provides mobile showers, laundry services and personal care necessities to people experiencing homelessness, and it plans to deliver its 100,000th shower this fall.

Anthem Winners are selected by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, according to the announcement. Judges for the 6th Annual Anthem Awards include a panel of leaders from organizations and companies dedicated to social impact. All Finalists are also in the running to win a Gold, Silver or Bronze Anthem Award selected by Anthem judges.

Alongside the Finalist announcement comes the launch of Anthem Community Voice in Partnership with NationBuilder, an annual voting campaign and celebration to uplift the work of Anthem Finalists. ShowerUp is a faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2016 by Paul and Rhonda Schmitz. It is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, and currently serves 10 cities nationwide: Nashville, TN; Cookeville, TN; Huntsville, AL; Chicago, IL; Wichita, KS; Clearwater/St. Petersburg, FL; Tampa, FL; Chattanooga, TN; Memphis, TN; and Columbia, SC. The organization has also deployed mobile shower and laundry units to 20 disaster sites across the U.S. As a disaster relief responder.

The Anthem Awards were launched in 2021 by The Webby Awards and recognize brands, nonprofits and individuals across seven core causes: Belonging & Inclusion; Education, Art & Culture; Health; Human & Civil Rights; Humanitarian Action & Services; Sustainability, Environment & Climate; and Technology. Anthem Winners Announcement Date

All Winners for the 6th Annual Anthem Awards will be announced on November 5, 2026. The Anthem Community Voice voting campaign runs online from October 13 to October 29.
