Optro launched an expanded set of autonomous agentic products for audit, compliance, third-party risk and AI governance at CRX, its annual user conference in San Diego, on October 14, 2026. The company said the products mark the formal arrival of GRC Intelligence, combining a system of record, agentic AI and governance over enterprise AI.

Optro's Agentic Products and the Reddit Testing Results

Optro said its Autonomous Testing engine now extends beyond SOX to operational audit testing across all control types, with full population coverage through Optro Analytics. Upcoming platform enhancements will introduce automated evidence collection, the company said. In its first three months using Autonomous Testing, Reddit's internal audit team automated 175 controls, more than 40 percent of its SOX scope, reducing testing time per control by 60 percent on average, according to the company. The team has since expanded agentic testing to over 75 percent of its SOX controls and to other recurring testing programs.

"Every risk leader is asking two questions: what are your AI agents standing on, and how are you governing the AI running across your enterprise?" said Happy Wang, Chief Product and Technology Officer at Optro. Carmen Lam, VP of Internal Audit and Compliance at Klaviyo, said her team now tests throughout the year rather than at a single point in time. Klaviyo, co-founded by Andrew Bialecki and Ed Hallen in 2012, was valued at $4.15 billion by April 2021, The Times of India reported.

Optro's Funding and Acquisition Record

Optro (formerly AuditBoard) was acquired by London-based private equity firm Hg for approximately $3 billion in 2024, according to akta.pro company records. The same records show Optro surpassed $300 million in annual recurring revenue as of October 2025, and that it acquired Midship in May 2026 to add autonomous testing capabilities, embedding agentic AI into controls testing and evidence collection workflows. Optro's funding rounds on record number four, including a $170.8 million round in January 2025 and a $40 million Series B in August 2018 led by Battery Ventures.

Optro's Run-Up to the CRX Launch

Optro announced enhancements to its Optro Partner Connect program at CRX on October 13, 2026, adding a Technology Partner Track and a Distributor Track plus a Partner Growth Funding initiative and awards starting in 2027, Third News reported. On October 8, 2026, Optro released its 2026 agentic enterprise report, which found 34 percent of organizations acted on inaccurate AI agent decisions, PR Newswire reported. Optro established a UAE hub in October 2026, making Dubai a regional center for its GRC platform, PR Newswire reported.

AI Discovery Preview and 2027 Availability

Optro said its Agentic AI Governance product pre-populates AI system records from existing documentation, and its evidence evaluator flags which controls are already satisfied. AI Discovery, which surfaces shadow AI enterprise-wide, is previewing ahead of 2027 availability, the company said.
