Big Apple Plumbing, a family-owned residential plumber serving the north Denver metro since 2014, is an official SpringWell installer with written approval from SpringWell, the company announced on November 7, 2026, according to 24-7 Press Release. The Broomfield, Colorado-based company installs SpringWell whole-house water filtration systems, water softeners and combination systems for homeowners in Westminster, Broomfield, Thornton, Wheat Ridge and nearby communities.

What the SpringWell Installer Role Covers

SpringWell sells its systems online and ships them directly to homeowners, leaving the buyer to install the system or find someone who will. As an official installer, Big Apple Plumbing provides a licensed local plumber who installs the system at the main water line and checks the work before leaving.

"A lot of homeowners order a system, then find out it has to be cut into the main line and they don't want to do it themselves," said Jason Wilkat of Big Apple Plumbing. "We size it to the house, install it, and stick around for questions after."

A SpringWell installation with Big Apple Plumbing includes checking water conditions and the home's water use to pick the right system size, installing the filter, softener or combination system at the main water line, adding a bypass so water service is not interrupted during future maintenance, and testing for leaks and walking the homeowner through filter changes and settings.

In a recent Thornton installation, Big Apple Plumbing mounted a two-stage SpringWell system on a plywood backing against the foundation wall, plumbed it with 1-inch copper and flexible connectors, and added three ball valves so the system can be bypassed for maintenance. The crew pressurized the system and checked every connection for leaks before leaving.

Whole-house filtration and softening also help protect water heaters and fixtures from scale buildup, which ties into the water heater replacement and installation work Big Apple Plumbing already does across the north Denver metro. Wisetack financing is available for larger installations.

SpringWell's Recent Product and Payment Moves

SpringWell Water Filtration Systems, founded in 2004 and headquartered in Daytona Beach, is a privately held direct-to-consumer manufacturer of residential whole-house water filtration, softening and purification systems, according to akta.pro company records. The same records show a December 2025 product launch: the PFAS Water Filter System (PFS-1), which uses ATOMUS PF8 media to remove PFOA, PFOS and GenX chemicals to non-detect levels (<1 ng/L), is certified to NSF/ANSI 53, 61 and 372, and is priced at $3,200 for 1-5 bathroom homes. In July 2026, SpringWell launched the "Beat the Heat" summer promotional campaign with special pricing across its whole-house water filter and softener catalog. The company also integrated with Truemed to enable HSA/FSA eligibility on qualifying water filtration products.
