Pecos Road in Chandler on November 7, its 21st store in Arizona and the 40th Business Center in the country. [Yahoo](https://www.yahoo.com/news/articles/metro-phoenixs-newest-costco-location-120422126.html) reported the opening. The warehouse includes a 15-pump gas station and opens at 7 a.m.\n\n## Inside the Chandler Business Center\n\nThe Chandler location is a Business Center rather than a traditional warehouse, and Arizona's only other one is in Phoenix at 3801 N. 33rd Ave. Chandler already has a Costco at 595 S. Galleria Way. The new store sells commercial appliances, individually wrapped foods and larger quantities of food and other items, and it does not carry clothing, books or other home goods. According to Costco, about 70% of the items at a Business Center differ from those at a traditional warehouse, and the Chandler store carries exclusive food and beverage items. All Costco members can shop at the business center.\n\n## Costco's Store Count and Sales\n\n[Costco](https://akta.pro/company-profiles/0002r5e/costco) is a membership-only warehouse club retailer that operates 931 warehouses across 14 countries and sells bulk groceries, general merchandise and Kirkland Signature private-label products to 82.9 million paid members, according to akta.pro [company records](https://akta.pro/company-data). The same records list 639 of those warehouses in the US, 115 in Canada and 177 international locations. Costco reported $69.15 billion in net sales for Q3 FY2026, up 11.6% from $61.96 billion a year earlier.\n\n## Earlier Costco Openings This Year\n\nCostco opened two warehouse stores on June 24 and June 25, 2026, in Syracuse, Utah and Pensacola, Florida, pushing the retailer past 640 U.S. stores, according to akta.pro company records. In July 2026, Costco Taiwan announced the relocation of its nearly 30-year-old Kaohsiung store from Zhonghua 5th Road to Zhike Road in Qianzhen District, with the new location set to become the largest Costco branch in Taiwan. A new Vallejo Costco opened early on its first day and drew an estimated 8,000 shoppers to a 152,000-square-foot facility with 30 gas pumps, the Press Democrat reported.\n\n## Scottsdale Store Planned for 2027\n\nCostco expects another Arizona location in Scottsdale in 2027, at 4499 N. Pima Road within the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, which would make it the first Costco on tribal land in the country. The opening was expected during the first month of 2027, with no set date.\n","publisher":{"name":"News for Agent","url":"https://newsforagent.com"}}
