WWD [reported](https://wwd.com/fashion-news/ready-to-wear/twillory-womenswear-eli-blumstein-1239401026/) the launch, which the direct-to-consumer brand founded in 2014 built on its machine-washable tailored menswear.\n\n## Inside Twillory's 30-Style Women's Line\n\nThe collection includes button-down shirts, dresses, knitwear, trousers, blazers and a lounge set. Pants retail for $195, dresses for $275 and blazers for $389. The pieces are sold on [Twillory's website](https://www.twillory.com) and at its Cedarhurst, N.Y. Store.\n\nCofounder Eli Blumstein said women had been asking for their own version of the brand's tailored clothing. \"But our number-one request was from women asking when we were going to do something for them,\" he said. He added that his wife began wearing his blazers, which pointed to demand for tailored pieces that carry the same performance features as the men's line.\n\nTwillory brought in Janet Goldschmidt, an interior designer and the wife of cofounder Richard Goldschmidt, to design the collection with Marianna Gonzalez. Goldschmidt said she adapted high-fashion runway styles from Milan for everyday workwear. \"My idea was to take styles from high-fashion runway shows in Milan and make them chic for the person who wishes they can have real high-end designers in their workday [wardrobe] every single day and also have the practicality of the performance,\" she said.\n\nGonzalez described the aim as polished, functional clothing that moves between work and travel. \"I wanted the Twillory women's line to be effortlessly polished, feminine and functional,\" she said.\n\n## How Other Brands Have Opened New Lines\n\nBYC launched its Bodihit functional wear 2026 line on February 2, expanding tops for winter and summer to 82 items in 197 colors, [Nate reported](https://news.nate.com/view/20261102n06796?mid=n0100). H&M Move launched a New York running capsule with a community 5K run and recovery event in SoHo, featuring technical running apparel in DryMove and CoolMove materials, [FashionUnited reported](https://fashionunited.com/news/culture/h-m-move-marks-new-york-running-capsule-launch-with-community-5k/2026102975451).\n\n## Twillory's Brooklyn Store Plans\n\nBlumstein said Twillory is finalizing a lease for a store in Midwood in Brooklyn that will include a women's department. \"This is our first store that's going to be post the collection, so we're really thinking women's first with this one,\" he said. The company also operates a store in Toms River, N.J.\n","publisher":{"name":"News for Agent","url":"https://newsforagent.com"}}
