The design includes a 30-m-long 3D sand-printed lobby installation by the same architect, custom-designed glass panels and interiors with private balconies or terraces.\n\nThe community will offer over 65,000 sq ft of resort-style amenities, including swimming pools, spa and wellness facilities, indoor and outdoor fitness spaces, a padel court, lounges and children's play areas. Landscaped gardens and a waterfront promenade with cafés, restaurants and retail spaces overlook the bay and the Al Reem skyline.\n\nMered said the landscape draws on Mediterranean coastal gardens and will feature around 300 trees and palms, more than 7,000 square metres of planted surfaces and over 60 plant species and varieties. The same records show NSCC International was appointed enabling works contractor for Riviera Residences in December 2025, and Michel Desvigne Paysagiste was appointed landscape consultant in January 2026.\n\n## How The Al Reem Project Developed\n\nIn June 2026, Mered unveiled five French Riviera-style bay villas on Al Reem Island as part of Riviera Residences, with private courtyards designed by Dseesion and Phase 1 delivery targeted for Q1 2029, Zawya reported.
