[Corporate Insight](https://akta.pro/company-profiles/000aper/corporate-insight-inc) released a research series on November 5, 2026 identifying leaders in customer-facing AI across financial services, based on firsthand testing of virtual assistants, AI-powered fintech platforms and AI search engines. The New York firm published the findings through [GlobeNewswire](https://www.globenewswire.com/news-release/2026/11/05/3397249/0/en/corporate-insight-releases-research-series-on-ai-leaders-in-financial-services.html).

## Fidelity and Voya Lead Retirement Assistants

Fidelity and Voya Financial earned the only Excellent ratings among the eight recordkeeper virtual assistants Corporate Insight tested. At the time of the research, Voya PAL was the only tool in the report that lets participants change contribution rates directly in the chat, a task 79% of participants in Corporate Insight's 2025 Participant Survey rated as very or extremely important. Fidelity's NetBenefits assistant delivers participant-specific balance and contribution data in-chat on web and mobile and can hand participants to a live representative within the chat window.

Adoption remains limited: only eight of the 18 recordkeepers Corporate Insight covers offer a virtual assistant, and only three of those eight offer one on mobile. Lively's LivelyAI earned the only Excellent rating among six HSA virtual assistants tested, answering 100% of test queries including misspellings and casual phrasing. Charles Schwab and Robinhood earned the two Excellent ratings among 11 firms evaluated for app-based assistants, live chat, secure messaging and contact options.

Olivia Jack, director of financial services research at Corporate Insight, said: "The leading virtual assistants in our testing complete real tasks inside the chat window: Robinhood's Cortex sets price alerts and drafts trades, Voya's assistant changes a participant's 401(k) contribution rate, and Lively's HSA assistant answered every test question we asked, typos included."

Public launched AI agents for prediction markets on September 24, 2026, enabling members to trade on events that move financial markets, with categories including crypto, commodities and politics, according to PR Newswire.
