[Forbes](https://www.forbes.com/sites/stevebanker/2026/11/04/cj-logistics-ongoing-ai-journey/) reported the deployment on November 4, 2026.\n\n## How the Infios Agents Chase Carrier Updates\n\nThe company's personnel had to email and call to obtain the information, and those outreaches were often ignored. The agent handles that outreach: calls are computer-generated, and a large language model pulls reason codes and context from the call or email, such as heavy traffic or a warehouse stop running long. If a response is insufficient, the message is escalated to a human.\n\n\"While the person probably knows they're talking with an (AI) agent, at least they know that if they give the agent good information, they're not going to get another phone call,\" COO Brad Nuffer said, according to akta.pro [company records](https://akta.pro/company-data). CJ Logistics compensates Infios for platform access based on the number of tokens used, with simpler use cases able to run on a lower-cost model. Infios, formerly known as MercuryGate, began working with CJ Logistics in 2010; Körber Supply Chain Solutions acquired MercuryGate and changed its name to Infios in March of last year, and by 2025 CJ Logistics was also running the Körber warehouse management solution.\n\n## CJ Logistics' Earlier Logistics Moves\n\nCJ Logistics acquired a 20,843-square-metre logistics facility from Daiwa House in Dong Nai, Vietnam, announced on October 16, its first expansion in a province that accounts for about 32% of ready-built warehouse supply in the Southern Key Economic Region, EIN Presswire reported. In September 2026, RLWRLD and CJ Logistics signed an MOU to jointly develop logistics-focused robotics foundation model technology, Koreatimes reported. CJ Logistics also deployed two humanoid robots at its Olive Young logistics center in Yangji, Yongin, to place cushioning material inside boxes, Koreatimes reported.\n\n## Where CJ Logistics Plans to Add Agents Next\n\nCJ Logistics plans to extend agentic capabilities to appointment scheduling, proof-of-delivery tracking and warehouse operations. Appointment scheduling is not a uniform process, so multiple agents are needed: one that understands the Walmart process and a different one that understands Target's. Drivers are supposed to submit proof of delivery on arrival, and a missing submission leaves a workflow step in the transportation management system incomplete. CJ Logistics has put six months into warehouse agents and is building an ROI model to decide which to develop.\n","publisher":{"name":"News for Agent","url":"https://newsforagent.com"}}
