Honda unveiled the RN0, a full-suspension electric mountain bike with a one-piece carbon fiber Y-frame, at EICMA 2026. Autoevolution reported the debut on November 3, 2026, and said pricing has not been disclosed.

Honda's RN0 Build and Shimano Drive

The RN0 was completed with Rotwild Bikes, which Autoevolution describes as a frequent collaborator for automotive brands entering e-biking. Honda calls the carbon frame "exclusive," and the bike carries a Gullwing Swingarm design that Honda says comes from its own drawing books. A Fox Float X Factory rear shock provides 145 mm of rear-wheel travel, while a Fox 36 Factory fork at the front offers 160 mm of travel with Kashima coating on the stanchions. A dropped post is integrated under the top arm of the Y-frame, and Autoevolution notes that available travel depends on frame size.

Shimano supplies the drivetrain and electronics: a 750 W peak motor with 100 Nm (74 lb-ft) of torque, paired with auto shift, auto assist and Trail+ mode. Auto assist analyzes rider input and delivers what is asked for, while Trail+ changes the assistance level from Eco to Boost. Toni Bou, a 40-time world champion on a Honda, and freeride MTB rider Antoine Buffart tested the RN0 and described the frame as "motorcross style," according to Autoevolution.

Honda's EICMA 2026 Motorcycle Lineup

Honda also unveiled the 2027 CBR1000RR-R Fireblade at EICMA 2026 with about 75% of components redesigned, including a new aluminum chassis and a two-stage variable intake, stupidDOPE reported. TimesNow reported that Honda revealed the 2027 Africa Twin range ahead of the show, adding an Enduro Sports off-road variant with a larger 1,131cc engine producing 117hp, a revised frame and Showa EERA suspension with Skyhook control. TimesNow also reported the ADV125 scooter, with a 125cc eSP+ engine producing 12.32hp and 11.7Nm of torque, a claimed top speed of 97km/h, 47.6 km/L fuel efficiency and 385km range on an 8.1-litre tank.

Rivian, Amflow and LYVA at EICMA

Other e-bike makers have also announced launches. Rivian spinoff Also is shipping its TM-B e-bike after overcoming AI server component shortages and UL certification hurdles, with standard and performance trims following, The Verge reported. Amflow announced global availability of its TL Carbon all-terrain e-bike, with 125Nm torque and a 22.6kg weight, and US availability of its PR eMTB with a removable 800Wh battery and up to 158km range, PR Newswire reported. LYVA will debut five concepts at EICMA 2026, two using BMW Group licensing for Dynamic Cargo and Clever Commute, GlobeNewswire reported.

Airlink's November 4 Launch

Airlink Communication Limited plans to launch its Air EV electric bike brand on November 4, 2026, with deliveries expected within a week, Business Recorder reported. The company targets up to 95% local manufacturing, initially sourcing bikes from international partners before shifting to local assembly.
