FourKites and Chorus Launch Store Marketing Intelligence for Consumer Brands

By ·

Key takeaways

  • FourKites and Chorus launched Store Marketing Intelligence, a service giving consumer brands end-to-end visibility of in-store promotional displays.
  • A study tracking approximately 15,000 displays across about 5,000 stores found that 29% never reached the sales floor.
  • The service is available to consumer goods, food and beverage, and retail brands across North America, Europe, and beyond.

FourKites and Chorus launched Store Marketing Intelligence, a service that tracks promotional displays from manufacturing to the store floor without retailer involvement, the companies announced November 3. Business Wire reported the launch. The service is part of a suite of offerings from the partnership between the two companies.

How Store Marketing Intelligence Tracks Displays

Store Marketing Intelligence follows each display across the distribution network and into the store. When a display drifts off its route or stalls in a back room, the service opens a recovery task and coordinates the reroute or floor-set while the promotion is still running. The service requires no dedicated in-store hardware, no complex integrations, and no replacement of existing systems, according to the announcement.

A study published in INFORMS' Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, tracking approximately 15,000 displays across about 5,000 stores at a single retail chain, found that 29% never reached the sales floor. Displays that did reach the floor spent only 62% of the campaign there.

"For forty years, brands have paid for promotional execution they could not see," said Matt Elenjickal, founder and CEO of FourKites. "Store Marketing Intelligence ends that, and it does so without asking a single store to install anything."

Chorus provides the machine learning algorithms that use item-level location and condition data, which feeds into FourKites' platform. "Chorus foundational Machine Learning algorithms provides actionable insights using item-level location and condition data across the supply chain, closing visibility gaps throughout each display's journey," said Suresh Vishnubhatla, CEO of Chorus.

FourKites' Earlier Outcome-as-a-Service Launch

FourKites introduced Outcome-as-a-Service for Supply Chain in October 2026, a model that delivers measurable operational results rather than software adoption, Machine Maker reported. The company aims to use AI agents to complete one billion hours of operational work over the next decade. In July 2026, The Loadstar reported that FourKites was repositioning itself around autonomous execution, using AI to book freight, process documentation, manage inventory, and resolve exceptions with minimal human intervention.

Retail Display Tracking Across the Sector

WHSmith is rolling out Wildix's x-hoppers AI communication platform across more than 300 UK stores, starting with 32 priority locations including Heathrow Terminal 5, Retail Technology Innovation Hub reported on October 28, 2026. Peach AI's RAX solution, which monitors product display and inventory in FamilyMart stores in Japan, is in its final demonstration phase, with plans to expand to up to 500 stores and aim for full-scale rollout in the first quarter of 2027, Platum reported on October 27, 2026. Seed to Table, an organic grocer in Naples, Fla., launched an immersive in-store experience featuring a seven-foot hologram developed with Proto Hologram and Live Buzz Intelligence, Chain Store Age reported on November 2, 2026.

Chorus's Armada Partnership

Armada partnered with Chorus in September 2026 to launch PRO Connect, a supply chain visibility platform using Bluetooth-enabled smart labels and AI analytics, citybiz reported. Pilot programs achieved nearly 100% accuracy in real-time tracking of inventory, condition, and movement.
