Why Magnum Chose Centric PLM
TMICC ran a selection process for a new product lifecycle management solution as part of its transformation strategy. Centric Software was chosen for its scalable platform, food and beverage-specific capabilities and end-to-end product lifecycle coverage, according to the announcement.
Centric PLM will bring product information into one platform and support collaboration across functions and markets. The company expects real-time data and integrated tools to give teams visibility across the product lifecycle and to align processes and integrations across global operations.
TMICC's portfolio includes Magnum, Ben & Jerry's, Cornetto, Wall's (Heartbrand) and Talenti. Zbigniew Lewicki, the company's Chief RD&I Officer, said the platform will connect research and development, packaging, quality and regulatory affairs. "Bringing R&D, packaging, quality, regulatory affairs and other functions into one connected way of working will be an important step forward for The Magnum Ice Cream Company," Lewicki said. "Centric PLM will give our teams greater visibility across the product lifecycle and create stronger alignment from early development all the way through commercialisation."
Fabrice Canonge, CEO of Centric Software, said: "Centric Software is proud to partner with The Magnum Ice Cream Company on this transformative journey." He added that the collaboration demonstrates Centric PLM's ability to provide a flexible, scalable digital foundation for global food and beverage companies.
