Caverion is a Finnish-headquartered technical services firm that designs, installs and maintains building and industrial technical systems across nine Northern European countries.\n\n## What the Energinet Framework Covers\n\nThe agreement runs for three years, with an option to extend it for two additional one-year periods. It covers reinvestments, major maintenance projects and other project assignments on the 132 kV, 150 kV and 400 kV overhead line network.\n\nCaverion is currently contributing to the refurbishment of the overhead line connection on Funen between Fraugde and Landerupgaard, and to the overhead line connection on Zealand between Asnæsværket and Hovegaard. Bjørn Krogsgaard Letager, Head of High Voltage at Caverion, said: \"The renewal of the framework agreement is strong recognition of the efforts of our employees, our organisation and the expertise we have built up in overhead line work over many years.\"\n\nEnerginet owns and operates the Danish electricity transmission grid and is working on almost 200 projects representing investments of over 100 billion kroner. Thomas Eybye Petersen, Senior Category Manager at Energinet, said access to competent partners becomes increasingly important as activity levels increase and projects become more complex.\n\n## Caverion's High-Voltage Business\n\nAccording to akta.pro [company records](https://akta.pro/company-data), Caverion won EUR 15 million in Ivalo substation renewal work for 2026 to 2028 and EUR 21 million in 400/110 kV power lines contracts from Finnish transmission system operator Fingrid in November 2025. The same records describe a strategy of about 20 critical-infrastructure projects supporting the green transition.\n\nCaverion's roots in overhead line work date back to 1907, when the company was known as E. Rasmussen.
