At William Blair he co-managed its multi-asset emerging markets debt strategy. He previously held portfolio management and research roles at NN Investment Partners and Grantham, Mayo, Van Otterloo & Co. (GMO), where he concentrated on Latin American sovereign debt and built proprietary sovereign credit and relative value models.\n\nHis experience spans portfolio management, sovereign credit research, frontier markets and quantitative modeling. Lou holds an MBA in finance from the MIT Sloan School of Management, an M.A. In policy economics from Tulane University and a bachelor's degree in economics, cum laude, also from Tulane.
