According to akta.pro company records, Konica Minolta Australia published ESG-and-AI thought leadership with General Manager John Harding in June 2026, positioning AI as a tool applied to real operational challenges. In September 2025, the company partnered with Macquarie University and ANZRP TechCollect to launch the Rethink e-recycling Drive, a community e-waste initiative that ran from 15 to 19 September 2025. The same records describe an autonomous mobile robotics offering built around the MiR partnership, layering proprietary software including sWorkflow, sInfra, sConnect and MiR Fleet Enterprise to sell end-to-end internal logistics automation beyond core print.

Earlier Konica Minolta Australia Announcements

In September 2026, Konica Minolta Australia, Macquarie University and ANZRP's TechCollect said they were launching the 2026 Rethink e-recycling Drive to collect e-waste from residents, students, staff and businesses, iTWire reported. Earlier that month, iTWire reported that Konica Minolta research of 305 Australian decision-makers found 83% have adopted AI, but only 21% have formal governance and 17% offer structured training. The research also found information fragmentation is the top challenge, with employees spending two to four weeks per year searching for data.
