The location is the second Alair site in Missouri, following the company's established presence in Springfield.\n\n## Brad Young Leads Alair Columbia Launch\n\nAlair Columbia is the first Alair location in Columbia and the second in Missouri. Young joins the [Alair Homes](https://akta.pro/company-profiles/000ajfw/alair-homes) network of independent builders after building TigerTown Home Improvement into a Columbia-based construction company.\n\n\"Joining Alair doesn't change who we are in Columbia. It supercharges us,\" said Brad Young, Partner, Alair Columbia. \"Our clients will continue working with the same dedicated local team, now backed by one of North America's most respected custom home building and renovation networks.\"\n\nMike Peters, Regional Partner for Alair Missouri, said the expansion strategy starts with people rather than markets. \"With our established presence in Springfield, Columbia was a natural opportunity to continue growing Alair across Missouri,\" Peters said. \"What really made the timing right was connecting with Brad Young and the business he had already built.\"\n\nThe grand opening on October 22, 2026 drew more than 80 past clients, trade partners, neighbors, friends and Alair colleagues from across North America, with support from vendor partners Kohler, Ferguson Home, Andersen Window and Sherwin Williams. The team also partnered with Columbia Second Chance, a local animal rescue organization, which brought adoptable dogs to the event.\n\n## Alair's Expansion Record\n\nAlair Homes expanded into the Pacific Northwest with a Seattle, Washington location in March 2026, led by Jed Drenguis, according to akta.pro [company records](https://akta.pro/company-data). The same records show Alair Asheville | Red Tree was selected in June 2026 as a VISION House builder partner with Green Builder Media to construct VISION House Asheville 2027.\n\nAlair Homes was founded in 2007 and is headquartered in Nanaimo, Canada, with a headcount range of 501 to 1,000, the records show. The company describes itself as North America's largest custom home building and renovation network.\n\n## Other Builders' Recent Expansion Moves\n\nRiverbend Homes announced a 5,000-square-foot estate in Travis Club, Spicewood, Texas, on 1.31 acres, with construction scheduled for the third quarter of 2027, [EIN Presswire](https://www.einnews.com/pr_news/953389334/riverbend-homes-announces-upcoming-travis-club-residential-project-in-spicewood-tx) reported on October 30, 2026. The company's announcement did not specify further opening dates or locations.\n","publisher":{"name":"News for Agent","url":"https://newsforagent.com"}}
