The company said gross sales grew by double digits in all three of its operating regions: Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and Asia-Pacific.\n\nRecurring gross sales rose 20% year-on-year to $2.25 billion and made up 67% of total gross sales. Cybersecurity remained the largest technology category, with gross sales up 21.6%, while networking sales increased 11.9%. Data centre and cloud infrastructure delivered the strongest growth, rising 75%.\n\nHardware represented 28% of total gross sales, though hardware sales grew nearly 24% year-on-year amid a refresh cycle and inventory planning in response to pricing volatility. Adjusted EBITDA excludes restructuring costs, share-based payments, one-off tax items affecting EBITDA, and acquisition, integration and corporate actions costs.\n\n\"AI is driving demand for the technologies at the heart of our business, but capturing that opportunity requires more than products alone,\" said David Grant, Chief Executive Officer at Westcon-Comstor. \"Our first-half performance reflects the strength of our specialist model and the role we play in helping partners build capability, develop repeatable revenue streams and deliver greater value throughout the customer lifecycle.\"\n\nCallum McGregor, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, said the breadth of the performance across regions and technology categories gives the company a strong platform for the second half. \"We remain focused on disciplined execution, while helping partners develop more predictable, services-led business models and capture opportunities across the technology lifecycle,\" he said.\n\n## Palo Alto Networks Programme and Sonar Deal\n\nWestcon-Comstor launched the Partner Growth Circle with Palo Alto Networks to help EMEA channel partners accelerate cybersecurity business growth, Intelligent Tech Channels Middle East & Africa reported on October 27, 2026. Telecompaper also reported on September 21, 2026, that Westcon-Comstor opened a new office of more than 6,000 sq ft in central London as a regional hub for its European operations.\n\n## Westcon-Comstor's Second-Half Outlook\n\nMcGregor said macroeconomic uncertainty, geopolitical tensions and pricing pressures continue to shape the market. The company said the first-half results give it a platform for the second half, without stating further dated targets.\n","publisher":{"name":"News for Agent","url":"https://newsforagent.com"}}
