Resident Inspect launched Resident Inspect OS, a platform that automates inspection scheduling and reporting and integrates with AppFolio and Rentvine, the company said in a [PRLog announcement](https://www.prlog.org/13177972-resident-inspect-expands-virtual-property-inspections-with-appfolio-and-rentvine-integrations.html) published October 29, 2026. The platform is live and available now, and Resident Inspect's coordinators still conduct every inspection.

## How Resident Inspect OS Handles Scheduling

The [AppFolio](https://akta.pro/company-profiles/00068mq/appfolio) and [Rentvine](https://akta.pro/company-profiles/0000m4o/rentvine) integrations bring in property, lease and tenant information so managers do not enter it twice. The Rentvine connection runs through Rentvine's API, and the AppFolio integration syncs automatically. Managers can set inspection schedules once, by lease dates or custom intervals, and inspections are ordered automatically when due.

A Client Portal shows where every inspection stands, from scheduling to finished report, and flags ones needing attention, such as unresponsive residents. Managers on other systems can keep requesting inspections as they do today and still track them in the portal. Reports carry the management company's logo, brand colors and report title, in a choice of seven layouts, and photos can include arrows and circles pointing owners to the exact item described.

"As a former property management company owner, I know how much time goes into getting inspections scheduled, following up, and keeping track of what's been completed," said Aaron Cooper, founder and CEO of [Resident Inspect](https://akta.pro/company-profiles/00sn3y8/resident-inspect). "We built Resident Inspect OS to bring that whole process together, from the systems managers already use to the reports they receive."

Residents join with one click from their phone's browser, with no app to download and no account to create. Two-way video lets them talk face to face with their coordinator, and on-screen prompts show them what to do next. Property managers can request a walkthrough at [residentinspect.com](https://residentinspect.com).

## Resident Inspect's Earlier Platform Partnerships

According to akta.pro [company records](https://akta.pro/company-data), Resident Inspect joined the Property Meld Nexus Network in May 2026 through an API integration, letting property managers on Property Meld order, track and receive virtual inspections and branded reports inside that platform. The same records list a Buildium integration that makes Resident Inspect's live video inspections and reports accessible within Buildium workflows. Resident Inspect conducts live virtual inspections in all 50 U.S. states, with no travel required beyond a cell phone with camera and cellular or WiFi reception.
