LifeLogics has appointed Ankit Mathur as Chief Executive Officer, the nonprofit technology company announced on October 28, 2026. Mathur succeeds the prior leadership as the organization enters its third decade, according to PR Newswire. He brings more than two decades of experience in technology, healthcare and organizational leadership.

Mathur's Move From UNOS to LifeLogics

Mathur most recently served as Chief Technology Officer of the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS). At UNOS, he helped guide technology strategy and modernization initiatives supporting the nation's organ donation and transplantation system. Previously, he was Chief Delivery Officer for the U.S. Digital Service at the White House. Earlier in his career, Mathur founded Roundtrip, a healthcare technology company ensuring patients have reliable access to transportation.

As CEO, Mathur will lead LifeLogics through its next phase of growth and modernization. The company said his focus will include strengthening partnerships with organ procurement organizations (OPOs), advancing its technology platforms, improving the customer experience and expanding interoperability across the donation ecosystem.

"Ankit brings a rare combination of healthcare technology experience, entrepreneurial leadership, and a deep understanding of the organ donation and transplantation community," said Mathew Moss, Chair of the LifeLogics Board of Directors. "As LifeLogics enters its third decade, we see a tremendous opportunity to build on the organization's foundation while strengthening our commitment to innovation, customer partnerships, and operational excellence."

Mathur said the work of LifeLogics customers is central to the role. "Behind every organ donation is a family navigating one of the most difficult moments of their lives," he said. "The work our customers do every day to honor those gifts and help save lives is extraordinary, and LifeLogics has an important responsibility to support them."

LifeLogics Platforms and Reach

LifeLogics was founded in 2006 with the support of a consortium of organ procurement organizations, according to akta.pro company records. The nonprofit provides software and technology services to the organ and tissue donation community through TrueNorth, a donor management platform for OPOs; Copernicus, an interoperability platform connecting hospital electronic medical record systems with OPOs; and donor registry technology supporting state and national donation programs.

The same records show LifeLogics active in 25 of 50 U.S. states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Its Copernicus referral system is used by 178 hospitals and medical examiners, including Beth Israel Deaconess, Denver Health, Penn Medicine and Houston Methodist. LifeLogics launched Copernicus Import in November 2022, enabling automated EMR-to-TrueNorth data transfer, initially deployed at Gift of Life Donor Program's Donor Care Center at Penn Medicine.

Mathur's Board Roles and Education

Mathur is a three-time graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University. He serves on the boards of the Richmond Technology Council and VCU's School of Business Foundation. LifeLogics announced his appointment on October 28, 2026.
