The work supports CATL New Energy's Phase VI project, which has an expected electricity load of approximately 210,500 kW.

## Drones Cross the Nanjing-Hangzhou Railway

The N10 to N11 span is 469 meters and crosses, in order, a 110 kV line, the Nanxi River, the G25 Changchun-Shenzhen Expressway and the Nanjing-Hangzhou High-Speed Railway, according to [PR Newswire APAC](https://en.prnasia.com/releases/apac/state-grid-changzhou-power-supply-company-helps-accelerate-power-supply-supporting-facilities-for-catl-new-energy-project-again-553209.shtml). The line runs from Ganxi Substation to the planned Shidai Substation and is erected with double-circuit lines on the same tower.

The railway construction window runs from 0:00 to 4:00 each day, leaving only three hours for the main stringing procedures after blockade, catenary power outage and grounding confirmation, and final inspections. The conductors of the two circuits and the two ground wires are planned to complete crossing deployment over four nights.

Chu Guowei, Director of the Project Management Center of State Grid Changzhou Power Supply Company, said the CATL New Energy Phase VI project plans to build cell production lines as well as module and battery pack assembly lines. "According to the connection plan, when one circuit is withdrawn, the other circuit has the capacity to bear the entire load of the project," Chu said, providing dual-circuit power supply assurance for the project's production.

After the guide ropes are deployed, tensioning equipment will pull the ropes level by level, completing the deployment and tensioning and attachment of conductors and ground wires in batches, the company said. The two 220 kV circuits will connect Ganxi Substation with the enterprise user substation after the project is completed and commissioned.
