Even Realities announced a software update for its G2 smart glasses that adds Conversate Pro Mode and a Knowledge Base storing user-selected data, alongside an upgrade to Even AI 2.0. The features launched in beta with a monthly usage allowance, and pricing after beta was not disclosed, 9to5Google reported.
What the G2 Version 2.4.0 Update Adds
The features ship in the Even Realities G2 version 2.4.0 update. Files and audio recorded in Conversate mode on the glasses, along with manually uploaded files, sync to a secure Google Cloud Platform server in the EU, and Knowledge Base updates the information to disseminate. Even AI 2.0 and active Conversate sessions pull context from the Knowledge Base.
Even Realities allows users to select up to 10 Conversate records to upload to that context tree during the initial setup, and more can be added as they are recorded. New Conversate sessions need to be selected for upload and are not added to the database automatically unless the user toggles automated uploads on. Conversate Pro Mode surfaces whatever data is there during relevant sessions.
Even AI 2.0 activates Even AI with the G2's touch sensor: holding it down starts recording, and releasing stops it. Users can enable multi-turn conversations instead of requiring a new wake word for a follow-up, and opening Even Hubs apps and changing certain settings from the AI chat are supported. The update also adds a tortoiseshell color option.
Even Realities' Funding and Platform Records
Even Realities is backed by Tencent and Hongshan, formerly Sequoia Capital China, according to company records. The company has two funding rounds on record: a $9 million Series A in July 2024 and a $150 million Series B in July 2026 led by Meituan and Tencent. Its Even Hub developer platform launched with approximately 60 apps built by a community of over 2,000 developers.
Earlier G2 Launches and Partnerships
Even Realities launched Terminal Mode and an expanded feature set including Conversate, Translate across 35+ languages and Teleprompt in April 2026, according to akta.pro records. In March 2026 it launched the Even Hub developer platform and app store alongside the Prep Notes productivity AI feature. In May 2026 it partnered with IO Interactive and Amazon MGM Studios to integrate Even G-series glasses into the 007 First Light gaming experience, with a post-launch update planned for later 2026.
What Comes After the Beta
Even Realities said Knowledge Base and Conversate Pro Mode both launched on October 26, 2026 in beta, limited for users based on a monthly usage allowance. The company's press release did not mention pricing after beta.
