Dress for Success Georgia's Sprint-Her Van
Susan Bonds-McCulloch, president of Dress for Success Georgia, said the organization has started offering services in Columbus and intends to expand to multiple cities over the next two-plus years. "We want to be places where women who need our services can access it very easily," she said. "And they can honestly get every service in our van that they can get at the office."
Brunessa Drayton gave a tour of the van, which includes a closet of clothes for clients to choose from and a desk for meetings while on the road. "We want to serve the total woman, the whole woman, from her wellness, to prepare her for not only a job, but a career," Drayton said. Bonds-McCulloch said the work has a generational impact, helping the women served as well as their children, families and communities.
