He joined Archbold in 2015 as a network engineer and database administrator, and in 2021 he became director of IS infrastructure and information security officer, according to an October 20 news release.\n\nHis experience covers enterprise infrastructure, network engineering, database administration, cybersecurity, disaster recovery and IT operations. At Archbold, Palmer modernized the system's core technology infrastructure and moved it toward current enterprise-class technologies. He directed the migration from on-premises Exchange to Microsoft 365 and led the enterprisewide deployment of endpoint protection.
