ADNOC has opened AED 60 billion in new local manufacturing opportunities, covering around 200 products and a portfolio of critical spare parts, the company said at the second Make It with ADNOC Forum in Abu Dhabi on October 25, 2026. Gulf News reported the announcement from Omar Abdulla Alnuaimi, Group Chief of ADNOC's Commercial & In-Country Value Executive Function.

ADNOC's AED 60 Billion Manufacturing Package

Alnuaimi said the list was built from ADNOC's growth ambitions, investment plans and capital program. "As we are looking at ADNOC's growth ambitions, our investment plans, as well as our capital program, we really reflected back on what more we need to be built here in the UAE to ensure that we have a resilient supply chain that will enable us to achieve these ambitious investments," he told Gulf News. The products span drilling and operations as well as projects, whether mechanical, electrical, static or rotary.

In drilling and wells, ADNOC has already localized wellheads and drilling fluids, and is now looking at electrical submersible pumps, OCTG, central coolers and seamless pipes. In projects, it wants to localize rotary equipment including compressors and pumps. For operations and maintenance, Alnuaimi pointed to electrical components, spare parts, catalysts and chemicals that still need to be localized. He said some opportunities suit smaller companies as well as large enterprises, describing them as "opportunities, partnerships, industries, and a whole value chain." Details were made available through a QR code shown at the event.

ADNOC is committing to the demand together with the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, Emirates Development Bank and the Abu Dhabi Investment Office. The Abu Dhabi Investment Office hosted its first investment forum in Seoul on September 16, 2026, resulting in multiple agreements with Korean companies, according to Koreatimes. Alnuaimi said Emirates Development Bank, the Abu Dhabi Investment Office and AD Ports will help companies move from opportunity to factory.

ADNOC's In-Country Value Record

According to akta.pro company records, ADNOC signed concessions in June 2026 giving BP and TotalEnergies 10% stakes each in the Bab Gas Cap project, one of Abu Dhabi's largest gas fields producing up to 1.5 bcf/d, with ADNOC retaining a 60% operating interest. The same records show ADNOC launched a $30 billion infrastructure investment partnership in May 2026 with L'IMAD, BlackRock Global Infrastructure Partners and Temasek to deploy capital into GCC and Central Asia energy, transport, logistics, digital, water and waste assets.

On October 12, 2026, ADNOC's Acting CEO said the company is open to further long-term LPG supply agreements with India, citing India as a top energy market, The Hindu reported. What ADNOC Says Comes Next

ADNOC set a target of 90 billion dirhams in local manufacturing by 2030. Alnuaimi said 80 billion has been achieved, resulting in 130 localized products and 95 new or expanded manufacturing facilities. "Our target is 90 percent achieved. This actually gives us the confidence to accelerate," he said.
