Judges honored Plans Two and Four at Solace in Miralon for Architectural Design, and named Solace an Architectural Series. The Daybreak design at Cotino was also named for Architectural Design. All three designs were additionally honored for Interior Merchandising of the model homes.

Hannouche Architects of Newport Beach was the architectural firm for all nominated homes, and Chameleon Design of Costa Mesa created each model home's interior merchandising. Each of the three designs is eligible for the So Cal MAME Home of the Year designation.

"WPG and its team have earned a fine reputation for notable attention to detail, and these superb desert homes show us why this design/development team is so celebrated," said Lisa Parrish, Judging Chair for So Cal MAME Awards.

WPG President Andrew Murphy said the company was delighted with the nominations and that Hannouche and Chameleon were an important part of the honors. "All of us strive to create new homes with persuasive, versatile designs, and to place these homes in locations that enrich the desert lifestyle for a wide variety of move-up and empty nester shoppers," Murphy said.

The So Cal MAME Awards welcomes entries in 2026 in some 30 categories celebrating design, planning and development companies and individual professionals.
