Exotool Releases MCP Connector Letting Claude Design Apps Its Patented Engine Builds

By ·

Key takeaways

  • Exotool released an MCP connector that lets Claude create and modify structured application diagrams inside Exotool.
  • Exotool's engine is protected by U.S. Patent No. 12,461,721 for automated API determination, generation, and integration.
  • The connector is available through the Claude connector directory, and users can create a free Exotool account.

Exotool released an MCP connector that lets Claude design applications, which its patented deterministic engine then builds into executable software, the company said. The connector is available through the Claude connector directory, according to the EIN Presswire announcement.

How the Claude Connector Works

Through the connector, Claude creates and modifies a structured application diagram within Exotool. That diagram defines the application's user interface, data structures, processing logic, and behavior. Exotool then transforms the diagram into executable software, determining which operations belong on the client or server, generating the APIs connecting them, and producing the application code and database structures.

Users can ask Claude to create an application, such as a customer-management system with searchable records, contact information, and communication histories. Claude constructs the corresponding Exotool diagram, and Exotool generates the working application, including its interface, processing logic, APIs, and database structures. Users can request subsequent changes through Claude or edit the diagram directly in Exotool's visual development environment. Generated applications can be previewed on desktop and mobile devices, and users retain access to the generated source code and can deploy applications to compatible hosting environments.

At the core of Exotool is technology protected by U.S. Patent No. 12,461,721, "System and Methods for Automated API Determination, Generation, and Integration." "AI is very good at interpreting what people want, but code is a poor way of specifying applications or communicating with humans," said Hubert Delany, founder of Exotool and inventor of the patented technology. "With Exotool, Claude designs the application, and our engine builds it."

Exotool's Earlier Platform and Enterprise Push

According to akta.pro company records, Exotool developed and launched its AI-enabled web-based Rapid Mobile Application Development platform in 2023 as its sole product offering. The same records show the company established a sales-led enterprise go-to-market motion in 2023, with a dedicated sales contact for enterprise sales, services, and custom configurations alongside a self-serve web login. Founder Hubert Charles Delany created and positioned the ExoTool RMAD system building on prior credibility from the Replevin Transaction Server deployed at Con Edison, the records state.

Other AI Product Launches This Week
