Jane Wiseman is exiting Paramount+ as executive vice president and head of originals, following her former boss Cindy Holland out of the streamer. Wiseman joined Paramount+ in August 2025 and will not make the transition to the merged Skydance structure under Casey Bloys, according to Yahoo.

Bloys Memo Sets Paramount+ Originals Under Aubrey

Bloys, who was given oversight of Paramount+ last month, revealed his new structure in a memo to staff on Friday. The setup keeps the HBO Max structure intact, and HBO Max head of original programming Sarah Aubrey will also handle those duties at Paramount+.

Holland immediately exited as part of the news, leaving open the question of what would happen to Wiseman. Insiders said Wiseman had expressed a willingness to stay. Paramount+ already had a lean staff, so it is unclear how much more attrition there might be.

At Paramount+, Wiseman ramped up the streamer's output, ordering shows including "Discretion" with Nicole Kidman and Elle Fanning, while striking deals with producers such as the Duffer Brothers and Issa Rae. Under Wiseman and Holland, the streamer ordered nearly 30 new series and renewed an additional 16.

Prior to Paramount+, Wiseman spent a little over a year as head of U.S. television at Sister, and before that spent time as a consultant for Prime Video. She spent 10 years at Netflix as VP of original series and head of comedy, working closely with Holland there as an early hire in 2014. Her career has also included time as senior VP and head of comedy at Chernin Entertainment, senior VP of comedy at NBCUniversal and director of comedy development at Fox.

Aubrey has been in charge of originals at HBO Max since 2019, before the service launched, and remained in her role after Bloys took on oversight of the streamer in August 2020. Before that, Aubrey was exec VP of original programming at TNT, and a TV and film producer at Film 44.

Paramount+ Output Before the Restructure

Paramount+ renewed flagship original Dutton Ranch for season 2 before season 1 finished airing, after it delivered 12.9 million global viewers in its first seven days, the biggest original series debut in Paramount+ history, according to akta.pro company records. The service also launched a Prime Day promotional campaign pricing Paramount+ Premium at $0.99 per month for the first two months, alongside a $0.99 per month Essential offer.

Earlier Paramount+ Series Moves

Paramount+ landed the sci-fi thriller series Zero Hour from Matthew Michael Carnahan and AGBO for development, its first major buy in the genre, following a competitive bidding situation, Yahoo reported in October 2026. Daisy Ridley will star in a Paramount+ remake of Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, based on Irwin Allen's 1961 film and ABC series, Yahoo reported the same month. Sam Heughan will star opposite Viola Davis in the Paramount+ thriller "Ascent," created by John Logan, with the series shooting in Los Angeles next year, Yahoo reported in October 2026.
