CryptEscrow announced a strategic partnership with Ripple on October 22, 2026, to advance crypto-powered real estate settlement. The Miami-based company said the collaboration combines its regulated crypto-to-fiat settlement infrastructure with Ripple's blockchain payment infrastructure. GlobeNewswire published the announcement. The partnership is designed to ease value movement between digital assets and traditional financial systems during major real estate transactions, particularly where buyers hold significant wealth in cryptocurrency.

How the CryptEscrow and Ripple Partnership Works

CryptEscrow provides a regulated conversion and settlement layer that connects digital assets with conventional real estate transactions. Sellers, developers, title companies and other parties do not need to handle cryptocurrency directly. The company said the collaboration with Ripple will support its work building infrastructure for high-value transactions while maintaining compliance, transparency and security through the closing process.

"We're thrilled to partner with Ripple as we continue building the infrastructure needed to connect crypto wealth with the real estate market," said CryptEscrow founder and CEO John Ioannou, Jr. "Ripple has spent years working on the connection between blockchain technology and traditional financial systems. Real estate is a natural next step for that infrastructure, particularly as more buyers want to use digital assets without forcing everyone else involved in the closing to change how they operate."

An estimated 67 million Americans now own cryptocurrency, roughly one in four adults, according to the National Cryptocurrency Association. Deloitte recently highlighted research showing crypto-wealth-enabled home purchases increased 35% year over year. It also cited a Redfin survey finding that 12.7% of Gen Z and Millennial homebuyers sold cryptocurrency to help fund their down payment.

Ripple, founded in 2012, provides blockchain solutions for payments, custody, prime brokerage and treasury management, with more than 85 licenses. Its stablecoin RLUSD and the digital asset XRP underpin those capabilities. On October 22, 2026, Arf, a Swiss-regulated working capital provider, partnered with Ripple to offer short-term RLUSD liquidity on the XRP Ledger to licensed cross-border payment firms, according to Crypto Briefing.
