Bybit has launched trading in more than 1,000 US stocks and exchange-traded funds and is developing a tokenised equity product called mStocks with Mantle, the Dubai-headquartered exchange said. The Fintech Times reported the launch, which went live on 12 October.

Bybit's Stock Trading and mStocks Plan

Chief executive Ben Zhou outlined the plans at the company's biannual "Keynote with Ben" session on 14 October. Eligible users can buy and sell US equities using USDC, with fractional share support and 24-hour, five-day access covering pre-market, regular and after-hours sessions. The product sits within Bybit's existing Unified Trading Account, which already supports crypto derivatives and foreign exchange.

mStocks is described as a tokenised stock backed one-to-one by real underlying securities, with planned support for round-the-clock conversion between eligible stocks and mStocks. Converted tokens would be usable as collateral within the Unified Trading Account and tradeable through automated market maker liquidity pools on the Mantle Network. Bybit is targeting a November launch for mStocks.

Mantle announced back-to-back all-time highs on 25 September, with tokenized assets reaching 1,473 and distributed asset value climbing to $476 million, according to PR Newswire. The RWA value increased 110% over 30 days, and the asset count grew more than twentyfold since January.

Bybit also offers IPO Express, launched in June, which gives eligible users access to selected initial public offering opportunities at the offering price through tokenised representations. The company said the service launched with SpaceX as the first available offering.

Bybit's Regulatory and Product Record

Bybit EU GmbH received a MiCAR license from Austria's Financial Market Authority in June 2026 to serve the European Economic Area excluding Malta from its Vienna headquarters, according to akta.pro company records. The same records show a June 2026 partnership that enabled the first institutional deployment of UBS uMINT, a tokenized USD money market fund, as yield-bearing off-exchange settlement collateral through a three-party Bybit, ByCustody and DigiFT architecture.

Bybit reports over 85 million users with daily trading volume exceeding US$20 billion, while press releases cite a base of over 80 million users in 2026. Its latest Proof of Reserves shows more than $16.5 billion in mainstream assets.
