KARTY has partnered with Qatar Airways Privilege Club to let users convert KPoints into Avios at a rate of 2 KPoints to 1 Avios, the Gulf Times reported. The feature is available to eligible users through the KARTY app on iOS and Android, and more than one million KPoints have already been converted.
How the KPoints-to-Avios Conversion Works
KARTY users collect KPoints through eligible spending and in-app challenges, and can now convert them into Avios directly in the app. The Avios can be spent on award flights with Qatar Airways, oneworld airlines and other partner airlines, upgrades, packages with Qatar Airways Holidays, and shopping and dining at Qatar Duty Free.
The redemption feature adds to travel benefits already offered to KARTY Visa cardholders, including airport lounge access up to six times a year, international transaction fees, automatic expense tracking, and the in-app option to freeze or unfreeze card services while travelling.
"At KARTY, our goal is to make everyday spending more rewarding for our users, and partnering with Qatar Airways Privilege Club allows us to extend that value in a meaningful way. By giving customers the ability to convert their KPoints into Avios, we are creating more choice in how they use the rewards they earn and connecting their everyday financial activity with travel and lifestyle experiences beyond the KARTY app," said Mohammed Suleiman, Co-Founder and CEO of KARTY.
Qatar Airways announced direct flights from Hamad International Airport to Western Sydney International Airport starting 15 December 2027, with routes on sale from 19 December 2026, The Peninsula Newspaper reported.
