Forbes Names 26 Healthcare Organizations to 2027 Most Trusted Companies List

Twenty-six healthcare organizations were named to Forbes' 2027 list of the Most Trusted Companies in America, published October 22, 2026. The 300-company ranking placed Boston Scientific highest among them at 38, followed by AbbVie at 53 and Oracle at 67. Becker's Hospital Review reported the healthcare contingent. How Forbes Built the 2027 Trust Ranking

Forbes published the third-annual list on October 22, 2026, highlighting companies with the most trust among consumers, employees, investors and creditors. It analyzed more than 2,500 companies across dozens of metrics within those areas. Those included Glassdoor ratings and employee tenure data, consumer sentiment surveys from HundredX, stock performance and revenue growth, and Dun & Bradstreet scores on how reliably companies pay vendors and creditors. To qualify, companies needed a U.S. headquarters and more than 5,000 employees. Companies do not pay a fee to participate or be selected, according to Forbes.

The healthcare organizations span drugs and biotechnology, healthcare equipment and services, hospital equipment and supplies manufacturing, insurance, medical equipment and services, pharmaceutical and biotechnology, pharmacies, and surgical instrument manufacturing. Oracle falls under the IT software and services category but was included due to its healthcare focus. Other ranked healthcare names include McKesson at 76, Cook Group at 83, Abbott Laboratories at 85, CVS Health at 88, GE HealthCare Technologies at 99, Amgen at 132, Stryker at 140, Gilead Sciences at 195, Merck & Co. at 197, Intuitive at 215, Cencora at 230, Eli Lilly at 240 and Thermo Fisher Scientific at 253. Insurers on the list include Hartford Financial Services at 118, State Farm at 122, MetLife at 155, Unum Group at 162, John Hancock at 193, Nationwide Mutual Insurance at 294 and New York Life at 296. Third News reported that Mars, Incorporated was named to the same Forbes list for 2027, ranking 17th out of 300 companies, up from 40th in 2026.
