Ramp launched Ramp for Nonprofits on October 21, 2026, a platform that helps nonprofit finance teams recover sales tax and keep spending aligned with grant restrictions and donor intent. The company announced the launch in a press release, according to PR Newswire.

What Ramp for Nonprofits Includes

Ramp for Nonprofits brings sales tax recovery, grant and fund controls, and audit documentation into one platform, with each organization's accounting system remaining the source of record. The product includes sales tax reclamation, which flags sales tax on card and accounts payable purchases and builds a claim packet for the organization to review and submit to the merchant or state. It also stores exemption certificates so staff can pull them up in the Ramp app at checkout in states that offer an exemption.

Grant budgets let organizations set a budget for each grant and see actuals against it in real time. Grant manager approval routing sends card and bill approvals to the grant manager assigned in the organization's accounting system. A Grant Policy Agent checks spend against each grant's rules, flags what is not allowed, and routes it for review before approval.

Ramp already helps more than 13,000 nonprofits. "We used to pay up to $20k a year for our AP platform. With Ramp, we're earning back well over that amount," said Heidi Coffer, CFO of Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco. "That's enough to fund a position, and it doesn't have to be an accountant."

"Every dollar a nonprofit spends carries a promise to a donor, a grantor, a board, or the community it serves," said Kelly Horton, Senior Director, Public Sector Sales at Ramp. "Ramp for Nonprofits helps finance teams get back sales tax they never should have paid, keep grants and restricted funds aligned with their purpose, and maintain a clear record from purchase through reporting, so they can spend more time supporting the mission."

Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth Results

Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth cut purchase-order approval time by 90% and saves six hours a month for its two-person finance and HR team supporting teens in crisis. The organization and Las Vegas Sands will co-present the 2026 Nevada Youth Homelessness Summit on November 13, 2026, in Downtown Las Vegas, marking 10 years of the Movement to End Youth Homelessness, according to CSRwire.
