Framer Offers Experts 50K AI Credits Per Client Site Switched to Its Platform

Framer is offering Framer Experts 50K AI credits per client site they switch to its platform, with the credits valid for three months. The company said the program, called Switch, is open to agencies, studios, freelancers and in-house teams that hold Framer Expert status.

How the Framer Switch Program Works

Applicants submit the site they want to move and share its current URL, along with the latest receipt or contract from the site's current platform. Framer reviews the submission and, once approved, sends a link to claim the AI credits. Each site can be submitted once, by one Expert, and the site cannot already be built on Framer. The program covers active company or client sites, not personal portfolios or side projects, and migrations can start from WordPress, Webflow, custom builds or other platforms.

Experts who transfer a finished project to a client earn 50% of handoff revenue. A previously approved site must be live on Framer before an Expert can apply for 50K AI credits to switch another site, so only one switch runs at a time. Credits expire three months after they are issued, with no deadline to launch.

Framer states that moving platforms does not mean starting over. URLs can be preserved where possible, redirects added when URLs change, and titles, descriptions and headings reviewed before launch. The agent can bring blogs, collections and other CMS content into Framer, though Framer notes some fields may need adjusting before publishing.

Mason Price of WenLaunch Studios described the migration process: "I gave agent the WordPress site URL and migrated ~500 CMS items in the time it took to grab a coffee."

Framer's Agent and Desktop Launches

Framer launched Framer Agents in June 2026, according to akta.pro company records. The Design, CMS and Code agents operate natively on the live canvas, alongside External Agents integrations with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and Gemini CLI, plus a production Branching workflow. The same records list a downloadable Framer Desktop App for Mac and Windows, launched in June 2026, which extends distribution beyond the browser and adds image export, multi-tab management and a built-in marketplace. Framer's platform counts over 4 million published websites, 188,000 companies across 200 countries, and about 364 million monthly active visitors reported at the Framer Agents launch.

Earlier Framer Customer Migrations

Duna launched its new website using Framer's Switch service, rebuilding the site in a few weeks, with marketing able to edit without engineering handoff, Framer said in October 2026. Cal.com migrated its website to Framer the same month, giving its design team control over components and layouts without code and doubling efficiency, according to Framer. The Telegraph's Commercial Design team uses Framer to build and publish partner campaigns independently, shipping 80% faster without developer handoff, Framer said in October 2026.
