Admoveo Systems launched the ASQ10-TW WiFi PA speaker with a built-in LCD display for schools on October 21, 2026, saying the WiFi connection removes Ethernet cabling and saves $250 per speaker location. The Pittsburgh company said the model helps schools comply with Alyssa Law. PR Newswire carried the announcement.
Admoveo Systems' ASQ10-TW Speaker and Its Features
The ASQ10-TW carries a high-resolution black-lit color LCD that shows operational and emergency alerts and displays synchronized time when no alert is active. The speaker integrates with building security systems, panic buttons and fire alarm panels to broadcast pre-recorded emergency or lockdown notifications. Authorized staff can trigger live paging from centralized console microphones, desktop PCs or a smartphone, and the model supports two-way communication, talkback and full intercom conversation.
Admoveo Systems has provided IP audio solutions since 2012 and offers both PoE and Wi-Fi PA speaker systems. The expanded WiFi line builds on the ASQ10-SW WiFi speaker. John Wilson, Director of Sales, said, "We are thrilled to expand our WiFi speaker family, offering our customers a cost-effective method of covering their organizations with audio broadcasts."
The speaker uses a 4.5-inch full-range driver unit with 91 dB sensitivity and a frequency response of 70 Hz to 20kHz, powered by a single-channel Class-D amplifier rated at 8 Ohms and 10 W. Network audio codecs are G.722, G.711 A-law, G.711 U-law and Opus. The display offers 16-bit RGB color, 600 cd/m2 brightness and 1920 by 480 resolution, with text configured through WebGUI. Wi-Fi standards are IEEE 802.11 b/g/n on 2.4 GHz and IEEE 802.11 a/n on 5 GHz with 2x2 MIMO.
The speakers require only AC power and can be shipped configured to a school's WiFi. Admoveo Systems said installation involves mounting the speaker with four provided screws, applying power, and letting it connect automatically. The ASQ10-TW is available now, and the company lists more information at its expanded WiFi speaker lineup.
