Owl Labs Debuts Meeting Owl 5 UHD 4K 360 Camera With Eight Mics, Sold Through B&H Photo

Owl Labs introduced the Meeting Owl 5 UHD 4K 360° teleconferencing camera, a plug-and-play device with a 20MP sensor, 360° 4K30 video and eight omnidirectional microphones, the company said in a GlobeNewswire announcement on October 20, 2026. B&H Photo is sharing the launch.

What the Meeting Owl 5 Does

The Meeting Owl 5 captures video at rates up to UHD 4K30 through a 360° fisheye lens with a 210° field of view, and it offers multiple video modes including a default speaker-switching mode and panoramic views. Its audio system pairs an 18-foot pickup radius with an adaptive beam-forming array of eight top-mounted omnidirectional microphones and an 84 dB speaker. The camera connects to a laptop with an included USB-C cable, and an HDMI cable links to a separate display monitor for single-cable content sharing. Built-in Wi-Fi 6E with tri-band 2.4/5/6 GHz supports connectivity, and the device works with macOS, Windows, Chrome and Linux. Plug-and-play compatibility covers Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet and Webex. Owl Labs also released a TSA-approved hard-sided carrying case with a foam insert for the camera, USB cable and power supply. Owl Labs' Subscription and Distribution Moves

Owl Labs launched Owl 360 Services, a three-tier subscription for IT administrators managing hybrid meeting device fleets, with a free Core tier automatically enrolled on all existing and new devices globally, according to akta.pro company records. The same records list Enhanced at $79 per device per year and Enterprise at $149 per device per year. Owl Labs signed a non-exclusive UK and Ireland distribution partnership with Westcoast, one of the UK's largest IT distributors, to extend Meeting Owl and Owl Bar reach through reseller channels.
