Northteq introduced aurora Agent Suite, a set of AI agents built into aurora, its Salesforce-native loan origination system for equipment finance, on October 20, 2026. Finextra reported the launch. The first four agents cover intake, KYB, credit analytics and financial spreading, with more planned for 2027.
What the Four aurora Agents Do
The intake agents read documents submitted by brokers and vendors, identify what each document is, pull out the data and send only questionable fields to analysts. If something is missing, the agent returns to the broker or vendor for that piece. The KYB agent, powered by Middesk, checks every file against more than 400 authoritative sources and sorts out watchlist hits and name mismatches, with each finding carrying its sources and reasoning.
The credit analytics agent drafts credit memos against a lender's own credit policy, reading bureau reports, PayNet, equipment details and financial spreads, and flags anything outside policy. The financial spreading agent reads financial statements line by line and builds the spread inside the deal. Every agent documents each piece of data and traces it back to its source, and lenders decide where a person reviews a deal before it moves forward. Lenders can also build their own agents, and aurora works with Salesforce's Headless 360, an open architecture with 60 new MCP tools, 30+ preconfigured skills and APIs.
"Every lender has access to AI now, and just because you can build something yourself doesn't mean you should," said Kristian Dolan, Chief Executive Officer at Northteq. "We built the everyday work right into aurora, partnered with specialists where it made sense, and kept the platform open for the pieces lenders want to make their own."
"Lenders automate more once they trust what's already been automated," said Lara Tolland, Chief Operating Officer at Northteq. "That trust comes from being able to check the work, so every agent in the suite leaves a trail back to the source."
Northteq's Earlier Aurora Launches
According to akta.pro company records, Northteq launched Aurora IDP, an AI-powered document processing solution that extracts and verifies data from invoices, credit applications and supporting documents, in October 2025. The same records list Aurora Syndicate, an automated syndication workflow platform with a dedicated Lender Portal and API-based secure data transfers, and Aurora Apply, an adaptive application experience that adjusts to borrower industry and size with embedded fraud prevention, plus Aurora Identity Reports through a CLEAR integration. Northteq ended 2025 powering operations for more than 175 equipment finance companies, and its client roster represents 30% of the Monitor Bank 50 and 25% of the Monitor 100.
