G42 and its portfolio company Analog signed non-binding memoranda of understanding with Advanced Machine Intelligence on October 20, 2026, covering frontier AI research, advanced compute infrastructure, sovereign enabled cloud and potential industrial applications. The agreements were announced by EIN Presswire.

What the G42 and AMI Labs MoUs Cover

Advanced Machine Intelligence, co-founded by AI pioneer and Turing Award laureate Yann LeCun, is developing world models: frontier AI systems designed to understand physical environments, anticipate outcomes and support reasoning and planning. The proposed collaboration would combine that research with G42's AI infrastructure, cloud and deployment capabilities, including Analog's Physical Intelligence platform, to identify where world models could be applied across industries.

Analog founder and CEO Alex Kipman, the inventor behind Microsoft's HoloLens and Kinect and a recipient of the Longuet-Higgins Prize for computer vision research, moved to Abu Dhabi to launch Analog with G42 and advance Physical Intelligence.

Mansoor Al Mansoori, CEO of G42 International, said: "The UAE and France share a longstanding partnership rooted in trust, shared ambition and a commitment to responsible technological progress. At G42, we are proud to build on this foundation through our work with AMI Labs. Together, we are advancing the frontiers of world models and Physical Intelligence, opening new possibilities for how AI understands and interacts with the physical world."

Alexandre Lebrun, co-founder and CEO of Advanced Machine Intelligence, said: "World models are how AI will learn to understand and act in the physical world. The UAE brings together talent, compute at scale and deep industrial expertise, which makes G42 a natural partner as we explore what world models can do in real environments."

The agreements provide a framework to exchange information, define shared objectives and shape future cooperation. Scope, commercial terms and implementation will be determined in separate definitive agreements. The MoUs were signed on the sidelines of the UAE-France Business Dialogue in Abu Dhabi, building on G42's operational AI data center in Grenoble and its strategic partnership with Mistral AI, formalised in May 2025.

G42's Compute and Partnership Record

G42's compute build-out includes a 42MW expansion of Core42's U.S. AI infrastructure at the Lake Mariner site in Buffalo, New York, announced in June 2026, raising total site capacity from 18MW to 60MW with NVIDIA and AMD compute capacity additions, according to akta.pro company records. In May 2026, G42 and the Government of India formalized a commercial framework to deploy an 8-exaflop AI supercomputer, Condor Galaxy India, using 64 Cerebras CS-3 systems under the India AI Mission. In March 2026, Group 42 Holding Ltd completed the $2.2 billion acquisition of e&'s 40% stake in Khazna Data Centers, consolidating full ownership of the hyperscale data center platform underpinning the Intelligence Grid.

Earlier G42 Announcements This Month

On October 15, 2026, G42's Maria Sanchez and Microsoft's Rima Semaan presented AI agents that examine investment proposals and assist procurement, with human review before decisions, and emphasized traceability and gradual automation starting with lower-risk tasks, EIN Presswire reported. On October 14, 2026, at Sharjah Investment Forum 2026, Microsoft UAE and G42 presented AI use in investment proposals and procurement, with human reviewers checking AI recommendations, Bignewsnetwork reported.

Next Steps for the Agreements

Scope, commercial terms and implementation of the collaboration will be determined in separate definitive agreements, the company said.
