Aduna announced three fraud prevention APIs for the United States, Know Your Customer, Device Swap and Call Forward Detection, targeted for availability in the fourth quarter, delivered with AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon. The company said the APIs give businesses direct access to mobile network signals for near real-time fraud checks. PR Newswire carried the announcement on October 20, 2026.
Aduna's Three APIs and the Carrier Partners
Aduna said the Know Your Customer API verifies customer identity information against carrier records for onboarding and account verification. The Device Swap API identifies when a mobile number has recently been tied to a different device, which Aduna said helps detect account takeover attempts and SIM-related fraud risks. The Call Forwarding Detection API reveals when call forwarding has been activated on a number, which Aduna said helps identify fraud scenarios where criminals redirect authentication calls or verification processes.
Aduna said the APIs are relevant for financial services, fintech, e-commerce, digital marketplaces, telecommunications, healthcare and government services. The company said enterprises, developers and solution providers can integrate the signals through a single API gateway instead of managing multiple carrier relationships and integrations.
"Fraudsters continue to exploit gaps in digital identity verification, creating significant challenges for businesses and consumers alike," said Anthony Bartolo, CEO of Aduna. "The launch of KYC and Device Swap and the forthcoming Call Forwarding Detection represents another major step towards bringing trusted network intelligence to the market at scale."
Aduna's Operator Reach and Partner Network
According to akta.pro company records, Aduna announced an ecosystem expansion at Mobile World Congress 2026 to 40 mobile operators globally and 15 or more digital identity, fraud prevention and communications provider partners, with live API services in six countries and plans to add markets including Australia, Brazil, India, Greece, Singapore, Thailand and the UK. The same records list a January 2026 partnership with NTT DOCOMO making its Number Verification and SIM Swap detection APIs accessible worldwide through Aduna's aggregation platform, and a November 2025 strategic partnership with Comviva to drive enterprise adoption of network intelligence through the NGAGE.ai platform.
Earlier Aduna Launches and Partnerships
Aduna and Modica Group agreed in September 2026 to collaborate on fraud prevention and identity verification services using standardized network APIs, Telecompaper reported. In July 2026, Aduna announced a network-based authentication solution designed as an alternative to SMS verification codes, in partnership with major U.S. carriers, PR Newswire reported. Comviva and Aduna said in October 2026 they would showcase network intelligence for financial services at Money20/20 USA in Las Vegas, demonstrating identity verification and fraud prevention, according to Newswire.
Aduna's Q4 Availability Target
Aduna said the three APIs are targeted for availability in the fourth quarter. The company said the Call Forwarding Detection API is forthcoming alongside the KYC and Device Swap launches.
