LogicMonitor announced a new operating model for IT that moves enterprises beyond the alert loop, built on its Envision and Edwin AI platforms with digital experience and internet performance insights from Catchpoint. The company said the architecture helps teams see more of their environment, understand what matters, and take governed action. The details were reported by EIN Presswire.
LogicMonitor's Five-Part Autonomous IT Model
The announcement rolls out new operating capabilities across five areas of its Autonomous IT platform. An enterprise data foundation provides more complete, open telemetry across metrics, logs, and cost signals. Unified context connects infrastructure, applications, services, dependencies, users, and digital experience. AI for governed action covers Edwin AI investigations, domain-specific agents and workflows that turn operational context into root-cause insight and recommended next steps. A headless experience brings Edwin AI into the tools where teams already work. Action, trust and governance covers identity, permissions, policies, approvals, auditability, and guardrails.
"Autonomous IT is not a switch customers flip overnight. It's a progression from trusted visibility, to better decisions, to governed action," said Prabhu Nakkeeran, chief technology officer, LogicMonitor. "Our AI-first platform gives teams the data and context they need to move forward at their own pace, while keeping people firmly in charge of policies, approvals, and operational risk."
LogicMonitor is strengthening the enterprise data foundation beneath Edwin AI with enhanced support for open standards such as OpenTelemetry, broader application logs, cost signals, and partition-level access controls. The company said the result is telemetry that AI can reason over, not simply retrieve.
"AI is most valuable in IT operations when it helps teams understand what matters and take the next step with confidence," said Karthik Sj, chief AI officer, LogicMonitor. "Edwin AI combines investigation with specialized expertise for network, infrastructure and the IT workflows that keep the business moving."
LogicMonitor MCP for Edwin AI gives compatible AI clients a unified, read-only way to access LogicMonitor monitoring context and Edwin AI intelligence. Authentication and permissions control access, while governance controls help teams expand their use of AI as confidence builds.
