Brook Gaming's StarRay Wireless Controller Ships With Native PS5 Support and Xbox-Style Sticks

Brook Gaming has released the Brook StarRay Wireless Controller, a multi-platform pad with native PS5 support and an Xbox-style asymmetrical stick layout, available through the Brook Amazon Store and the Brook official online shop. The New Taipei City company announced the launch on October 19, 2026, according to GlobeNewswire.

What the StarRay Controller Does

StarRay supports PS5, PC (Steam), iOS and Android, with Bluetooth wireless and USB-C wired connectivity. On PS5, players can power on the console directly using the HOME button. The controller carries Hall Effect analog sticks, mechanical buttons rated for approximately 4 million presses, and a dual-mode trigger system that switches between a 15mm long-stroke linear trigger and a 0.3mm short-stroke quick trigger. On PC, it supports a polling rate of up to 1000Hz over a wired connection.

The StarRay App covers Turbo, Macro, button remapping, and joystick sensitivity and dead-zone adjustment, alongside firmware updates. The hardware includes two top auxiliary buttons, two rear buttons, dual vibration motors, RGB lighting, anti-slip grips, and a 3.5mm stereo headset and microphone jack, powered by a 1100mAh rechargeable battery. Brook Gaming describes the pad as built for players who value responsive controls and flexibility across game genres, and points buyers to its official product page for specifications and purchasing information.
