Axis Communications will showcase AI, digital resilience and integrated security at Milipol Qatar 2026, running October 20 to 22 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, according to Gulf Times. Regional sales manager Mohammed Hoteit said the exhibition gives stakeholders a platform to explore emerging technologies, exchange expertise and develop partnerships in the security sector.
What Axis Will Show at Milipol Qatar
Hoteit said organisations are moving beyond standalone security products towards integrated, open-platform systems that connect video surveillance, access control, network audio and other technologies. "Security by design and integrated security are now critical for organisational resilience," he said. "By building and investing in comprehensive ecosystems, organisations open the door to future growth and prosperity."
Axis will highlight its secure-by-design approach, including signed firmware and privacy masking, which support device security and responsible management of surveillance footage. Critical infrastructure protection is another focus, with thermal cameras, explosion-protected devices, radar and pan-tilt-zoom cameras on display for monitoring and perimeter protection in demanding environments. Network audio solutions for announcements, real-time communication and alerts will also feature, alongside body-worn cameras that support field personnel through video capture and evidence management.
Demonstration pods at the stand will let visitors explore network cameras, audio speakers, body-worn cameras, access control systems and environmental sensors. Featured products include the AXIS D2123-VE Radar, which provides wide-area detection and AI-powered classification and can be integrated with selected Axis PTZ cameras, and the AXIS Q6300-E Panoramic Camera, equipped with multiple sensors for multidirectional imaging. The AXIS W120 Body Worn Camera offers on-demand streaming and location tracking and can be integrated with compatible video and evidence management systems. "Partnership plays a big part in delivering solutions that are open and scalable and that address organisations' key security and operational needs," Hoteit said.
Axis's Recent Radar and Partnership Moves
Axis launched the AXIS D2124-VE radar for large-site perimeter surveillance in September 2026, offering 360-degree coverage and human detection up to 140 meters across 40,000 square meters, Securitybrief reported. The company unveiled the same radar at Security Exhibition and Conference 2026 in Sydney that month, iTWire reported. In August 2026, Axis joined Palo Alto Networks' Frontier AI Critical Defense Program as a founding partner, collaborating to protect critical infrastructure from exploits driven by emerging AI technologies, Financial Post reported.
Radar and AI Launches Across the Sector
Axon announced new corrections deployments across four states in October 2026, with Maryland reporting a 40% drop in staff assaults after a trial, PR Newswire reported. Maris-Tech completed development of Diamond Ultra V2, an AI-powered defense video processing platform for military and homeland security, The Defense Post reported. Reolink launched the Home Hub 2 at IFA 2026, now available for $199.99 in the U.S., supporting up to eight cameras, PR Newswire reported.
Axis Partners at the Doha Stand
Axis will participate alongside regional distributor 360 Security Systems, appointed the company's country distributor in 2026, which provides security system design and integration services. Other participating partners include PowerStack, which offers solar-powered infrastructure for security and monitoring equipment, and AerVision, a provider of AI-powered video analytics whose AerWatch platform includes object and behaviour detection, multi-camera tracking, occupancy analytics and automated event detection. Visitors can meet the Axis team at stand S009 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center from October 20 to 22.
