The Savannah Economic Development Authority said the facility will supply Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America, the automaker's Georgia metaplant. Yura operates 49 sites in 17 countries, and the Bloomingdale plant will be its first Southeastern U.S. Presence.
"Yura Corporation is a leader in the development and manufacturing of automotive wiring harnesses, electronic control modules and eco-friendly auto parts, and we are excited they have chosen Chatham County for this first Southeast location," said Savannah Economic Development Authority President and CEO Trip Tollison. "As they begin operations here, we look forward to building a lasting partnership and helping support their continued growth and investment in Chatham County."

"Beyond business operations, we are committed to sustainable management, striving for mutual prosperity with the local community as a trusted partner," Cho said.
Georgia Department of Economic Development Commissioner Pat Wilson said the decision demonstrates trust in the state's business environment and positions both Georgia and Yura Corporation for growth as the hybrid and EV supply chain expands.
